My younger sister is studying at the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City and is taking up a business course. She is now on her second year. For two years, she is a GSIS scholar. As a scholar, she gets P20,000 worth in free tuition every semester and some allowance. This is a great financial help knowing that education is really expensive, particularly in private colleges and universities.
The Government Service Insurance System or GSIS had already announced that it is already accepting applications and nominations for its 2011 GSIS scholarship program.
Active GSIS members are invited to join and winners will be chosen via electronic raffle. The winner then can nominate anyone of his or her choice who is qualified to be a scholar.
GSIS said that 200 slots are available for scholarship. So grab this opportunity now.
Check out here on how to apply for the GSIS scholarship.
