The PRC has issued on Monday an erratum or correction
regarding the list of passers that it earlier posted for the October 2012
Certified Public Accountants or CPA Board Exam.
In that announcement, the PRC said that indicated that
the University of the Philippines – Visayas – Cebu City did not have any board
passers,” PRC said, adding that “UP Visayas Cebu City does not offer
Accountancy as a course.”
However, the entry was actually erroneous, and that error
occurred during the filling out of the online application form when an examinee
chose the option of University of the Philippines – Visayas – Cebu City” instead
of putting and choosing “University of the Visayas – Cebu City”.
