Most recent reports and Senate investigations revealed that there is really a great excess of nursing graduates in the country today. These nursing graduates usually end up unemployed or underemployed.
On Friday, the government announced that 180 nurses are needed in Surigao Province for the Registered Nurse Health Enhancement and Local Service (RNHeals).The 180 nurses are to be deployed in Surigao City and Surigao del Norte.
RHHeals is actually part of President Aquino’s program to hire and deploy nurses on various parts of the country especially on rural areas.

Surigao City – 9; Alegria - 9; Bacuag – 12; Burgos – 9; Claver – 7; Del Carmen – 9; General Luna – 9; Gigaquit – 8; Mainit – 11; Malimono – 9; Pilar – 9; Placer – 10; San Benito – 9; San Francisco – 12; Sta. Monica – 9; Sison – 12; Socorro – 8; Taganaan – 8; and Tubod – 11.
